Whale eyes also known as half moon eye or side eye: is when the dog's head is averted and the sclera or the white of a dog's eye is visible. This tells you the dog is anxious or afraid. It may become defensively aggressive and most probably the dog will bite you immediately. This can happen when a dog is touched in an area it does not like or when it is guarding its food or toy.
